Description
No-Bake Peach Yum Yum is a classic layered dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, creamy layers of whipped cream and cream cheese, and sweet peach pie filling. This easy, no-bake treat requires minimal prep and is perfect for a refreshing summer dessert or any occasion where you want a cool, fruity indulgence.
Ingredients
Crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch ground cloves
Filling
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (21 oz.) can peach pie filling
Instructions
- Prepare Crust: In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon, and ground cloves. Add the melted butter and mix with a fork until the crumbs are evenly moistened. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the crumb mixture for topping later. Press the remaining crumbs firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray to form the crust layer.
- Prepare Filling: Using an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese together with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. In a separate chilled bowl, whip the whipping cream with 3 tablespoons of sugar and the vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture by hand until fully combined, maintaining the fluffy texture.
- Assemble Layers: Spread just under half of the whipped cream and cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared crust. Spoon the peach pie filling evenly over this layer. Top the peach layer with the remaining whipped cream and cream cheese mixture, smoothing it out. Sprinkle the reserved graham cracker crumbs evenly over the top layer.
- Chill: Refrigerate the assembled dessert for several hours or preferably overnight to allow the layers to set and flavors to meld. Serve chilled for best taste and texture.
Notes
- You can substitute Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping in place of homemade whipped cream if preferred.
- Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing and a smooth filling.
- For a more pronounced spice flavor, adjust the cinnamon and cloves slightly to taste.
- Use a chilled bowl and beaters for whipping cream to achieve better volume.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days for optimal freshness.
