Description

A refreshing and nutritious Triple Berry Protein Smoothie perfect for a quick breakfast or post-workout boost. This smoothie blends mixed berries, banana, chia seeds, and vanilla protein powder with almond milk for a creamy, satisfying drink packed with antioxidants, fiber, and protein.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1.5 cups frozen triple berry mix
  • 1 medium frozen banana

Superfoods

  • 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds

Protein & Liquids

  • 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1.25 cups unsweetened almond milk

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Place the frozen triple berry mix, frozen banana, chia seeds, vanilla protein powder, and unsweetened almond milk into a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high until all ingredients are fully combined and the smoothie has a creamy consistency. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk and blend again. If too thin, add additional frozen berries and blend to thicken.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit to create a cold, thick texture without the need for ice.
  • Adjust the amount of almond milk to control the smoothie’s thickness.
  • Substitute protein powder with your preferred plant-based or whey protein.
  • Optional: Add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness if desired.
  • For added nutrients, sprinkle some flaxseeds or add a handful of spinach before blending.
