Ingredients
Fruit
- 4 large ripe (but not too ripe) yellow peaches, sliced
- 1 cup blackberries
- ¾ cup blueberries
- Seeds from 1 medium pomegranate
Other
- 6 large basil leaves, cut into ribbons
- 1-2 teaspoons honey
- ½ lime, juiced
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Slice the peaches and cut the basil leaves into ribbons. Collect the seeds from the pomegranate and wash the blackberries and blueberries.
- Combine the fruit and basil: Add the sliced peaches, blackberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds, and basil ribbons to a large mixing bowl.
- Dress the salad: Drizzle with 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey and the juice of half a lime over the fruit mixture.
- Toss gently: Using tongs, gently toss the salad to evenly coat all fruit pieces with the honey-lime dressing and to mix in the basil leaves.
- Serve or store: Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-4 days. For best presentation, add basil ribbons last if preparing ahead to keep their vibrant color.
