Instructions
- Prepare the Burnt Ends Brisket Dip: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded smoked beef brisket, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, diced jalapeño, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
- Bake the Dip: Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe dish and bake at 190°C (375°F) for 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
- Cook the Jammy Eggs: Soft boil the eggs by placing them in boiling water and cooking for 7 minutes. Once done, remove the eggs, cool them under cold water, peel, and halve them.
- Grill the Sausage and Toast Bread: Slice the jalapeño cheddar sausage and grill the slices until browned and cooked through. Toast sourdough bread slices until crisp and golden.
- Assemble the Plate: On a large serving plate, arrange the warm burnt ends brisket dip, jammy eggs, grilled sausage slices, toasted sourdough, mini sweet peppers, celery sticks, red onion slices, pickles, green olives, grapes, and pretzel sticks artistically.
- Finish the Plate: Sprinkle feta cheese crumbles and fresh dill over the assembled items. Drizzle with balsamic glaze or hot honey to add a touch of sweetness and acidity.
Notes
- Use smoked beef brisket for authentic smoky flavor in the dip.
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño to control the spice level.
- Soft boiling eggs for exactly 7 minutes yields jammy yolks perfect for this dish.
- For a vegetarian version, omit the brisket and sausage and substitute with grilled vegetables or plant-based protein.
- Balsamic glaze adds sweetness; hot honey provides a spicy-sweet contrast — choose based on your preference.
