Description

This refreshing Pink Drink is a vibrant, lightly sweetened beverage made with hibiscus tea, white grape juice, creamy coconut milk, and strawberries. Perfect as a cooling dessert or a delightful treat on a warm day, this colorful drink blends floral and fruity flavors with a creamy finish.

Ingredients

Tea Infusion

  • 2 Tazo “Passion” tea bags (or any hibiscus tea)
  • ½ cup white grape juice
  • ½ cup water

Drink Base

  • Ice cubes (enough to fill a 12-ounce glass)
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • ¼ cup freeze-dried strawberries (or sliced fresh strawberries)

Optional Sweetener

  • Simple syrup, to taste

Instructions

  1. Steep Tea in Grape Juice: Place one tea bag into ½ cup of white grape juice and let it steep until the juice turns a bright pink color.
  2. Steep Tea in Water: Place the second tea bag into ½ cup of water and steep for 3 to 5 minutes until a deep pink color develops.
  3. Prepare Glass: Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice cubes to chill the drink effectively.
  4. Combine Tea and Juice: Pour ½ cup of the steeped grape juice and ½ cup of the steeped tea over the ice in the glass.
  5. Add Coconut Milk: Top the mixture with ½ cup of unsweetened coconut milk and stir gently to combine all ingredients evenly.
  6. Add Strawberries: Garnish with a handful of freeze-dried strawberries or fresh sliced strawberries to add texture and fruity flavor.
  7. Sweeten if Desired: Add simple syrup to taste if you prefer a sweeter drink, and stir well.
  8. Serve: Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh and vibrant flavors of this pink beverage.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh sliced strawberries for freeze-dried strawberries for a different texture.
  • Adjust the sweetness with simple syrup according to your preference or omit it for a naturally tart drink.
  • This drink is best served chilled and consumed fresh for optimal flavor.
  • Use any hibiscus or passion tea bags if Tazo brand is unavailable.
