Description

A refreshing and festive Non-Alcoholic Apple Cider Sangria combining crisp apples, juicy pears, zesty orange, and tangy pomegranate seeds with sparkling lime water and apple cider. Perfect for gatherings or any time you want a bubbly, fruity beverage without alcohol.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple, chopped into 1-inch cubes with skin
  • 1 medium HoneyCrisp apple, chopped into 1-inch cubes with skin
  • 1 large orange, sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 medium pear, chopped into 1-inch cubes with skin
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds

Liquids

  • 750 ml non-alcoholic apple cider
  • 750 ml lime sparkling water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Chop the Granny Smith apple, HoneyCrisp apple, and pear into 1-inch cubes with the skin left on. Slice the orange into thin rounds. Remove pomegranate seeds from the pomegranate until you have ½ cup for the recipe.
  2. Combine fruit in pitcher: Add all the chopped apples, pear, orange slices, and pomegranate seeds into a 2-liter capacity glass pitcher. Reserve some fruit for garnishing if desired.
  3. Add liquids: Pour 750 ml of non-alcoholic apple cider into the pitcher over the fruit, then add 750 ml of lime sparkling water. Stir gently with a spoon to combine.
  4. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the sangria for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Serve in glasses garnished with cinnamon sticks or rosemary sprigs if preferred. For a fizzier drink, refrigerate the cider with fruit first, then add sparkling water just before serving and stir.

Notes

  • You can reserve some fruit to garnish glasses for a pretty presentation.
  • Adding sparkling water just before serving keeps the drink fizzy for longer.
  • This recipe makes about 6 servings, perfect for small gatherings.
  • Use a 2-liter pitcher to accommodate all ingredients comfortably.
  • Feel free to swap sparkling water flavors, such as lemon or plain, based on your preference.
