Description
This no churn 4 ingredient strawberry ice cream is a creamy, luscious, and fruity dessert perfect for summer. Made with simple ingredients like frozen strawberries, whipping cream, condensed milk, and lemon juice, it requires no fancy equipment and is easy to whip up for a fresh, homemade treat.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 500 g frozen strawberries
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 500 ml whipping cream
- 75 g condensed milk
Optional Ingredients
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp honey
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Blend Strawberry Mixture: In a blender or liquidizer, add the frozen strawberries (reserve a few for chopping later), lemon juice, condensed milk, and 100 ml of the whipping cream. Blend the mixture until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender occasionally with a spatula to ensure even blending.
- Whip Remaining Cream: In a large mixing bowl, add the remaining 400 ml of whipping cream. Beat it with a mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form, meaning the cream holds its shape firmly.
- Combine Mixtures: Pour the blended strawberry mixture into the whipped cream. Add the chopped frozen strawberries you set aside earlier. Gently fold everything together using a spatula, ensuring the strawberry mixture is evenly incorporated without losing too much airiness.
- Freeze: Transfer the combined mixture into a container or tin suitable for freezing. Cover it tightly and place it in the freezer for at least two hours to set and firm up into ice cream.
- Serve: Once fully frozen, scoop and serve the ice cream as desired. Enjoy your refreshing no churn strawberry ice cream!
Notes
- Blend the frozen strawberries with a bit of cream and condensed milk to help liquefy the mixture smoothly.
- Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender between blending for better consistency.
- Adding chunks of frozen strawberries into the ice cream mixture adds texture and bursts of fresh strawberry flavor.
- If desired, enhance flavor with optional vanilla, honey, or a pinch of salt.
