Description
Grill Pan Honey Glazed Steak Strips are a quick and flavorful way to enjoy steak indoors. The steak is seared on a grill pan and coated in a sweet honey glaze with savory soy sauce, creating a caramelized finish.
Ingredients
- Steak (such as sirloin or flank), sliced into strips
- Honey
- Soy sauce
- Garlic, minced
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Red chili flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Season the steak strips with salt, black pepper, and red chili flakes (optional).
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil to make the glaze.
- Heat the grill pan over medium-high heat until it’s smoking hot.
- Add the steak strips to the pan and sear them for 2–3 minutes per side, or until they get a nice char.
- Pour the honey glaze over the steak and toss to coat, letting it bubble and caramelize for 1–2 minutes.
- Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest briefly before serving.
Notes
- For variations, try swapping the steak for chicken strips or tofu for a different protein twist.
- Add a splash of lime juice for a fresh zing in the glaze.
- Feel free to toss in sliced bell peppers or onions to cook alongside the steak.
- For a smoky flavor, add smoked paprika to the marinade.
- This recipe works in a cast iron skillet if you don’t have a grill pan.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
