Description

This Easy Strawberry Cold Foam recipe offers two simple methods to create a creamy, fruity topping perfect for coffee, tea, or desserts. Choose between the blender method for a fresh strawberry flavor or the no-blender method using strawberry jam for quick convenience. Both versions combine heavy cream and vanilla for a smooth, luscious foam that adds a delightful strawberry twist to your favorite beverages.

Ingredients

Blender Method Ingredients

  • 3 strawberries, rinsed and dried, stems and leaves removed
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 teaspoons sweetener (sugar, stevia, agave, honey, or preferred sweetener)

No Blender Method Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoons strawberry jam
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 teaspoons sweetener (optional, adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: For the blender method, rinse and dry 3 strawberries, removing stems and leaves. For the no blender method, measure out strawberry jam according to preference.
  2. Blend Strawberry Foam Ingredients (Blender Method): In a small blender, combine the 3 strawberries, 3 tablespoons of heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend on medium speed until the mixture turns thick and creamy, approximately 1-2 minutes. Taste and incorporate 1-2 teaspoons of sweetener to your liking, blending briefly to mix.
  3. Shake to Emulsify (No Blender Method): In a mason jar, add 1-2 tablespoons of strawberry jam, 3 tablespoons heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Seal the jar tightly and vigorously shake for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture becomes thick and creamy. Alternatively, use a milk frother to achieve similar results. Taste and adjust sweetness or add more jam as desired.
  4. Serve and Enjoy: Spoon the strawberry cold foam atop your coffee, tea, or dessert. Enjoy the fresh fruity flavor and creamy texture!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness according to your taste preference by adding more or less sweetener.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best natural flavor in the blender method.
  • The no blender method is a great quick alternative when you don’t have fresh strawberries on hand.
  • Heavy cream can be substituted with a light cream or half-and-half, but foam may be less thick.
  • Refrigerate any leftover foam and use within 1 day for best freshness.
