Description

These Crunchy Air Fryer Stuffed Pickles are a bold and savory snack made with tangy dill pickles, a creamy cheese filling, and a crispy breadcrumb topping. Air fried to golden perfection, they’re the ultimate crunchy, cheesy, low-fuss appetizer—perfect for game day or snack time!

Ingredients

  • Large dill pickles
  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Ranch seasoning mix
  • Toasted pecans or almonds, finely chopped
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Melted butter
  • Optional: diced jalapeños for added heat

Instructions

  1. Slice pickles in half lengthwise and scoop out the centers to create “pickle boats.”
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar, ranch seasoning, chopped nuts, and jalapeños (if using).
  3. Fill each pickle half with the cream cheese mixture, pressing gently to secure.
  4. In a shallow bowl, combine melted butter and panko. Press the stuffed side of each pickle into the breadcrumb mixture to coat.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place pickles stuffed-side up in the basket and air fry for 8–10 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  6. Cool slightly, then serve with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Spice it up with extra jalapeños or chili flakes.
  • Try different cheeses like pepper jack or gouda.
  • For nut-free: use more cheese or chopped scallions.
  • Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • Bake alternative: 400°F (200°C) oven for 15–20 minutes.
