Ingredients

Chicken and Seasoning

  • 2 large chicken breasts (approximately 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Wraps

  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

Optional

  • ¼ cup ranch dressing, for serving
  • Olive oil spray or cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips. In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken strips and toss thoroughly until evenly coated in the seasoning.
  2. Preheat the air fryer: Heat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes to ensure optimal cooking temperature.
  3. Cook the chicken: Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the seasoned chicken strips in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Remove the chicken and lay out each whole wheat tortilla. Place a layer of fresh spinach leaves, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese followed by the cooked chicken strips.
  5. Wrap and crisp: Roll each tortilla tightly to enclose the filling. Spray the outside of each wrap lightly with olive oil spray. Place the wraps seam-side down into the air fryer basket.
  6. Final air frying: Air fry the wrapped tortillas at 375°F (190°C) for 2-3 minutes, or until the tortillas are crispy and golden brown on the outside.
