Ingredients
Chicken
- 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Honey BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breast into approximately 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Season all the pieces evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder to build a flavorful base.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned chicken pieces, cooking them undisturbed for 3-4 minutes to develop a nice sear. Then stir and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, for another 3-5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove the skillet from heat.
- Make and Toss with Honey BBQ Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup BBQ sauce and 1/4 cup honey until smooth. Pour this sauce over the cooked chicken bites in the skillet and stir well to ensure every bite is coated evenly with the sweet and tangy sauce.
