Ingredients
Fruits
- 2 cups fresh berries
Dairy
- 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or your favorite flavor)
Sweetener
- 3 tablespoons honey (add more for desired sweetness)
Instructions
- Puree the berries: Purée the fresh berries in a blender until smooth. Optionally, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar if you prefer your popsicles sweeter.
- Mix yogurt and honey: In a small bowl, combine the vanilla Greek yogurt and honey and stir until well blended.
- Layer the popsicle mold: Alternate pouring the berry purée and yogurt mixture into the popsicle mold, starting with the berries, and continue layering until the mold is full.
- Insert sticks and freeze: Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and place them in the freezer. Freeze for about four hours or until they are completely hard.
- Serve the popsicles: To remove the popsicles, run the mold under warm water for a few seconds to loosen them, then carefully pull them out and serve immediately while cold.
Notes
- Use any combination of fresh berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or sugar to taste.
- For a creamier texture, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
- If you don’t have popsicle molds, small paper cups and popsicle sticks work as well.
- Popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 month in an airtight container or wrapped individually.
