Description

Vegetarian cheesy white bean buffalo dip is a spicy, creamy, and crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s perfect for game day or any gathering. With bold buffalo flavor, melty cheese, and protein-packed white beans, this easy vegetarian dip satisfies everyone—no meat required!

Ingredients

  • 1 can white beans (cannellini or great northern), drained and rinsed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup buffalo hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped green onions, blue cheese crumbles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend white beans, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Stir in buffalo sauce, half of the cheddar, and half of the mozzarella.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish or cast iron skillet.
  5. Top with remaining cheeses and bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with green onions or blue cheese, and serve hot with chips, bread, or veggies.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by using mild or hot buffalo sauce.
  • Vegan swaps: use dairy-free cream cheese, yogurt, and cheese.
  • Add chopped roasted cauliflower for extra texture.
  • Great served with pita chips, celery sticks, or baguette slices.
  • Can also be made in a slow cooker on low for 1–2 hours.
