Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour
- 2 tbsp dry milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix bread flour, dry milk, sugar, and yeast.
- Add warm water and vegetable oil, stirring to form a dough.
- Knead until smooth and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- While dough rises, cook ground beef and chopped onions in a skillet until browned; drain fat.
- Season beef mixture with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out dough onto the baking sheet to form a thick crust.
- Spread pizza sauce over dough, then layer with beef mixture.
- Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before slicing into 12 rectangular pieces.
