Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tbsp dry milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, mix bread flour, dry milk, sugar, and yeast.
  3. Add warm water and vegetable oil, stirring to form a dough.
  4. Knead until smooth and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. While dough rises, cook ground beef and chopped onions in a skillet until browned; drain fat.
  6. Season beef mixture with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Roll out dough onto the baking sheet to form a thick crust.
  8. Spread pizza sauce over dough, then layer with beef mixture.
  9. Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  11. Let cool slightly before slicing into 12 rectangular pieces.
