Description
Tender beef is cooked in garlic butter and glazed with a sweet and smoky honey-BBQ sauce, then tucked into soft tortillas with cheese and a creamy drizzle for a flavor-packed taco night favorite.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or beef strips
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup honey BBQ sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 soft taco tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise (for creamy drizzle)
- 1 Tbsp honey (for creamy drizzle)
- 1 Tbsp BBQ sauce (for creamy drizzle)
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (for creamy drizzle)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the beef and cook until browned and fully done. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey, BBQ sauce, and smoked paprika to make a creamy drizzle.
- Warm the tortillas. Spoon beef mixture into each tortilla, drizzle with the creamy sauce, sprinkle cheese, and top with cilantro if desired.
- Fold tortillas and serve immediately.

- You can substitute the beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
- Top with lettuce or tortilla strips for added crunch.
- Use Monterey Jack or queso fresco as cheese alternatives.
