Description

This Tater Tot Pizza Casserole combines the flavors of pizza and the comfort of tater tots into one hearty and customizable dish perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices, divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in pizza sauce.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Layer half the pepperoni slices over the beef.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the pepperoni.
  7. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  8. Add remaining pepperoni slices over the tater tots.
  9. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until tater tots are golden and cheese is bubbling.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
