Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup pepperoni slices, divided
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano.
- Drain excess fat and stir in pizza sauce.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Layer half the pepperoni slices over the beef.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the pepperoni.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Add remaining pepperoni slices over the tater tots.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until tater tots are golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Use a thick pizza sauce to prevent sogginess.
