Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a hot skillet and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
