Description

A spicy, tangy sandwich with buffalo‑sauce coated chicken, lettuce, tomato, and creamy blue cheese or ranch sauce on a bun


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 5 oz each)
  • 1 cup Buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 4 slices tomato
  • ¼ cup blue cheese dressing (or ranch / blue cheese mix)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the Buffalo sauce and melted butter.
  4. Brush or toss the chicken breasts in the buffalo‑butter sauce.
  5. Cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 165 °F (74 °C), turning and basting with sauce as needed.
  6. Lightly toast or grill the buns.
  7. Assemble sandwiches: on bottom bun place lettuce, tomato, then chicken, drizzle or spread blue cheese dressing, top with bun.

Notes

  • You can substitute ranch dressing or a yogurt‑blue cheese mix for lighter sauce.
  • To reduce sogginess, toast buns well.
  • If you don’t have a grill, cook chicken in a skillet or bake in the oven.
  • Adjust the amount of Buffalo sauce to control spiciness.
