Ingredients
- 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 (30 oz) bag frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth, then remove from heat.
- Spread thawed hashbrowns evenly into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spoon sausage and cream cheese mixture over the hashbrowns.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour egg mixture evenly over the sausage layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
