Description

Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are the ultimate easy breakfast idea—perfect for busy mornings, brunches, or meal prep. Featuring savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melty cheddar wrapped in golden crescent dough, they’re a delicious, portable option that both kids and adults love.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough (refrigerated, classic variety)
  • 8 breakfast sausage links or patties (cooked)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon butter or oil (for scrambling eggs)

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble in a nonstick pan with butter until just set.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  4. On each triangle, place scrambled eggs, cheese, and a sausage link on the wide end.
  5. Roll tightly from the wide end to the point, tucking in sides.
  6. Place roll-ups on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Add diced peppers or green onions to eggs for flavor.
  • Use pepper jack cheese or hot sauce for a spicy version.
  • Can be made ahead, stored in the fridge, or frozen and reheated.
