Description
Refreshing Peach Lemonade is a sweet-tart, hydrating drink made from fresh peaches and lemons, perfect for hot summer days. It’s easy to make, naturally flavored, and ideal for BBQs or poolside lounging.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 cups water, divided
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Optional: mint leaves or lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Combine sliced peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until peaches are soft and sugar is dissolved.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp.
- In a large pitcher, mix the peach puree with lemon juice and the remaining 4 cups of water. Stir well.
- Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- Add berries like raspberries or strawberries for a fruity twist.
- Substitute half the water with club soda for a sparkling version.
- Use honey or a sugar substitute for a lower sugar option.
- Store in the fridge for up to 4 days and stir before serving.
