Description

This decadent Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Trifle is a layered dessert dream—fudgy brownies, rich chocolate pudding, peanut butter whipped cream, and chopped Reese’s cups. Perfect for holidays, birthdays, or any crowd-pleasing event, this no-bake chocolate and peanut butter trifle is rich, creamy, and unbelievably easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch fudgy brownies (homemade or boxed mix), baked and cooled
  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • Milk (as directed on pudding package)
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare brownies and cut into bite-sized cubes once cooled.
  2. Whisk chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened; set aside.
  3. In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream until slightly thick. Add peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Continue whipping until soft peaks form.
  4. In a trifle dish or glass bowl, layer: brownie pieces, pudding, peanut butter whipped cream, and chopped Reese’s. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream and more Reese’s on top.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Can be made a day ahead—flavors meld beautifully overnight.
  • Substitute chocolate cake for brownies for a lighter texture.
  • Add chocolate/caramel drizzle or chopped nuts for extra texture.
  • Store covered in fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Best served chilled. Do not freeze.
