Ingredients
Chicken and Sauce
- 1 Chicken Breast
- Teriyaki Sauce – enough to coat chicken (recommend SAN-J or ASIAN FAMILY brand)
Vegetables
- 1/4 Red Onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 Green Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/4 Red Cabbage, shredded
Other
- 1/2 Package Farkay Steam Noodles (about 3-4 oz), steamed
- 2 Wraps (choose any flavor, such as Grimms or Dempsters)
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Cut the chicken breast into small cubes. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add the chicken, and pour in enough teriyaki sauce to coat it. Cook the chicken thoroughly, stirring occasionally, until it is fully cooked and glazed with the sauce. Remove from heat.
- Cook Noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the Farkay steam noodles and cook for approximately 5 minutes until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process and cool the noodles. Set aside.
- Slice Vegetables: Thinly slice the red onion and green pepper. Shred the red cabbage finely to prepare for layering in the wrap.
- Assemble Wraps: Lay out the wraps on a flat surface. Begin layering the ingredients starting with the cooked teriyaki chicken cubes, followed by the cooled noodles, then add the sliced vegetables on top.
- Add Sauce and Roll: Drizzle additional teriyaki sauce over the layered ingredients in the wrap to enhance flavor. Carefully roll up the wrap tightly to encase the fillings and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh vegetables for the best crunch and flavor.
- Feel free to substitute the chicken breast for tofu to make a vegetarian version.
- You can warm the wrap slightly before serving if you prefer it warm.
- Adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce according to your taste preference.
- Steam noodles can be replaced with other noodles like rice noodles or soba for variation.
