Description

This Peanut Butter Bread is a soft, moist quick bread combining the comforting flavors of peanut butter and oats. Easy to prepare with pantry staples, it makes for a perfect breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Grease a standard loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, peanut butter, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Add flour and oats, stirring until just combined—don’t overmix.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 50–60 minutes.
  6. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool further before slicing.

Notes

  • Swirl in jam for a PB&J twist.
  • Add cinnamon or chocolate chips for variation.
  • Use natural or other nut butters for dietary needs.
  • Wrap and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • Freezes well—wrap tightly before freezing.
