Description
This Peanut Butter Bread is a soft, moist quick bread combining the comforting flavors of peanut butter and oats. Easy to prepare with pantry staples, it makes for a perfect breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup old-fashioned oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Grease a standard loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, peanut butter, and eggs until smooth.
- Add flour and oats, stirring until just combined—don’t overmix.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 50–60 minutes.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool further before slicing.
Notes
- Swirl in jam for a PB&J twist.
- Add cinnamon or chocolate chips for variation.
- Use natural or other nut butters for dietary needs.
- Wrap and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- Freezes well—wrap tightly before freezing.
