Description

A fun and refreshing no-churn Mountain Dew ice cream that combines the zesty citrus flavor of the soda with a creamy, velvety base—perfect for summer and no ice cream machine needed.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups chilled Mountain Dew soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon gelatin (dissolved, for firmer texture)
  • Optional: green food coloring for a vibrant hue

Instructions

  1. Chill the mixing bowl and whisk in advance.
  2. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. If using gelatin, dissolve it and stir it in.
  4. Gently stir in the chilled Mountain Dew, preserving as much fizz as possible.
  5. Carefully fold in the whipped cream to maintain fluffiness.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for at least 4–6 hours or overnight.

Notes

  • Use gelatin for a firmer, more scoopable texture.
  • Add food coloring for a more vibrant appearance.
  • Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
