Description

These Milky Way Caramel Cheesecake Brownies are the ultimate dessert mashup—featuring a rich, fudgy brownie base, a silky cheesecake layer, and gooey chunks of caramel-filled Milky Way bars. Perfect for parties or indulgent nights in, these decadent bars are irresistibly chocolatey, creamy, and packed with caramel goodness.

Ingredients

  • For the brownie layer:
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • For the cheesecake layer:
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups chopped Milky Way candy bars (preferably Simply Caramel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Reserve 1 cup of batter and spread the rest into the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until creamy. Fold in chopped Milky Way bars.
  4. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base and smooth evenly.
  5. Dollop reserved brownie batter over the top and swirl gently using a butter knife.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until center is just set. Cool completely, then chill for at least 1–2 hours before slicing.

Notes

  • Substitute Milky Way with Snickers, Twix, or Rolos for a twist.
  • For extra indulgence, drizzle with salted caramel before serving.
  • For individual portions, bake in a muffin tin and reduce bake time.
  • Use a boxed brownie mix for a quick shortcut—just follow the cheesecake and candy steps as written.
