- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chopped mango, habanero peppers, honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice, and salt.
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes until mango is soft and mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more honey or lime juice if needed.
- Store in a jar or bottle once cooled.
Notes
- For extra zing, add grated ginger.
- Roast mango and habanero for a smokier flavor.
- Reduce habaneros or use jalapeños for a milder sauce.
- Use agave syrup instead of honey to make it vegan.
- Simmer longer or add cornstarch slurry for a thicker consistency.
