Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 cups cooked white rice (for serving)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well to coat the beef.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions.
- Serve the beef mixture over hot cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds.
