Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken on both sides until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and honey. Stir to combine.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and simmer in the sauce until cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and garnish with lemon slices before serving.
