Description

A refreshing and lightly sweetened iced guava white tea lemonade that combines the subtle flavors of white tea with tropical guava juice and a zesty splash of fresh lemon juice. Perfect for warm days, this easy-to-make beverage is both vibrant and soothing.

Ingredients

Tea Base

  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, plus additional to taste)
  • 1 bag white tea
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (plus additional for serving)

Juices and Flavorings

  • 1 cup guava juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed, about 1/4-1/2 lemon, plus additional to taste)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Tea: In a large measuring cup, dissolve the honey (if using) in 1/2 cup of boiling water. Add the white tea bag and allow it to steep for 10 minutes to extract the delicate flavors.
  2. Cool the Tea: After the initial steeping, add 1/2 cup of ice cubes to the tea and let it continue to steep for an additional 10 minutes, which cools the tea and enhances the infusion.
  3. Mix the Lemonade: Stir in the guava juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice into the cooled tea mixture. Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or lemon juice to taste if desired.
  4. Serve Over Ice: Fill one large or two small glasses with a generous amount of ice cubes, then pour the iced guava white tea lemonade over the ice.
  5. Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing and tropical iced beverage.

Notes

  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor and freshness.
  • The optional honey can be omitted or substituted with another sweetener as preferred.
  • Adjust the amount of ice to control the strength and chill factor of the tea.
  • For an extra burst of flavor, garnish with lemon slices or a sprig of mint.
