Description

Hot Apple Dumplings are a warm, comforting dessert made with tender apple-filled dough, baked to golden perfection and drizzled with a rich, cinnamon-infused syrup. Perfect for fall or any time you crave a cozy treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Place an apple slice on each triangle and roll it up tightly.
  3. Arrange the apple dumplings in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dumplings.
  5. Pour the melted butter and water around the dumplings in the dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the dumplings are golden and cooked through.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with the syrup from the bottom of the dish.
