Description

A vibrant and refreshing summer fruit salad made with juicy peaches, berries, basil, honey, and lime. It’s quick to prepare and perfect for BBQs, potlucks, or a healthy snack.

Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe (but still slightly firm) yellow peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • ¾ cup blueberries
  • Seeds from 1 medium pomegranate
  • 6 large basil leaves, cut into ribbons
  • 12 teaspoons honey
  • Juice of ½ lime

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the peaches, blackberries, blueberries, pomegranate seeds, and basil ribbons.
  2. Drizzle with honey and lime juice.
  3. Toss gently with tongs until everything is coated.
  4. Serve immediately, or chill if preferred.

Notes

  • Use maple syrup instead of honey to make it vegan.
  • Add strawberries, raspberries, or cherries for extra variety.
  • Swap basil with mint for a refreshing twist.
  • Add a spicy kick with chili powder or cayenne.
  • Make it more filling by adding cheese, avocado, or greens.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2–4 days.
  • Add basil just before serving to keep it fresh.
