Description

A creamy, savory garlic butter spread made with fresh garlic, parsley, and simple pantry ingredients. Perfect for bread, vegetables, meats, or pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 6 fresh garlic cloves, finely diced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Let the butter sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the softened butter with a fork until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in the diced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto plastic wrap and roll it into a log about 1″ in diameter.
  5. Wrap tightly and chill in the fridge for about 30–60 minutes until firm.
  6. Slice into discs and use however you like—on bread, veggies, meats, pasta, or anything that needs a savory boost.

Notes

  • If using salted butter, reduce or skip added salt.
  • For smoother garlic flavor, toast the garlic in butter before mixing.
  • Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months in portioned logs or discs.
  • Try variations like Cajun, Italian herb, sweet, or cheesy garlic butter.
