Description
A creamy, savory garlic butter spread made with fresh garlic, parsley, and simple pantry ingredients. Perfect for bread, vegetables, meats, or pasta.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 6 fresh garlic cloves, finely diced
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Let the butter sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.
- In a medium bowl, mash the softened butter with a fork until it’s smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the diced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
- Spoon the mixture onto plastic wrap and roll it into a log about 1″ in diameter.
- Wrap tightly and chill in the fridge for about 30–60 minutes until firm.
- Slice into discs and use however you like—on bread, veggies, meats, pasta, or anything that needs a savory boost.
Notes
- If using salted butter, reduce or skip added salt.
- For smoother garlic flavor, toast the garlic in butter before mixing.
- Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months in portioned logs or discs.
- Try variations like Cajun, Italian herb, sweet, or cheesy garlic butter.
