Description

Experience smoky grilled shrimp paired with crisp romaine lettuce and creamy Caesar dressing, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. These Grilled Shrimp Caesar Wraps make a quick and satisfying meal perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
  • 1/2 cup croutons (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Preheat the grill and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque, indicating they are fully cooked.
  2. Make the Caesar Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Warm the flour tortillas in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing onto each tortilla. Layer the grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and if desired, croutons for added crunch. Optionally add bacon for more flavor.
  4. Fold and Roll: Fold the sides of each tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a wrap, ensuring all ingredients are secure inside.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a healthier twist, swap mayonnaise for Greek yogurt-based dressing.
  • For a low-carb option, use lettuce leaves instead of flour tortillas to make lettuce wraps.
  • To enhance flavor, try seasoning the shrimp with Cajun or blackened spice for a spicy kick.
