Ingredients
- 1–1.5 lbs steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak tips with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked rigatoni to the cheese sauce, stirring to coat.
- Return steak tips to the skillet. Spoon garlic butter over the steak and heat through for 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Substitute rigatoni with penne or fusilli if needed.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Use half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
- Swap in other cheeses like fontina or provolone for variation.
- Grating cheese fresh improves melt and texture over pre-shredded.
