Description
Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles is a quick, indulgent dish featuring tender flank steak and noodles tossed in a rich, garlicky butter sauce. Ready in just 20 minutes, it’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 8 oz egg noodles or ramen noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add thinly sliced flank steak in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add garlic and sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes if using and cook for another 15 seconds.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Stir to combine, scraping up any browned bits. Season with salt and black pepper, and simmer for 1 minute.
- Add cooked noodles and toss to coat in the sauce. Return steak to skillet with any juices and gently toss to combine.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
