Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese combines the crispy, buttery goodness of garlic bread with the gooey, melty satisfaction of a classic grilled cheese sandwich. It’s quick to prepare and delivers bold, indulgent flavors.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick bread (like sourdough or Texas toast)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons salted butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or grated
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic and optional chopped parsley.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on a skillet over medium heat.
- Layer shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Grill for 3–4 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and grill the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a minute, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Use medium-low heat to prevent the bread from burning before the cheese melts.
- Customize with additional fillings like tomato slices or bacon.
- Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
