Description
Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a delightful dessert combining crispy, pan-fried bread with a rich cheesecake filling and sweet strawberries. Perfect for a quick indulgent treat.
Ingredients
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
 - 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar
 - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
 - 8 slices white sandwich bread
 - 2 tbsp butter, for frying
 - Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
 
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries until well combined.
 - Spread the mixture on 4 slices of bread, then top each with another slice to form sandwiches.
 - Gently press the edges to seal, trimming crusts if desired.
 - Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry sandwiches until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
 - Transfer to paper towels to drain excess butter.
 - Slice sandwiches in halves or quarters and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
 
Notes
- Use flavored cream cheese or add mini chocolate chips for variation.
 - Substitute strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or jam.
 - Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in a skillet or air fryer.
