Description

Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a delightful dessert combining crispy, pan-fried bread with a rich cheesecake filling and sweet strawberries. Perfect for a quick indulgent treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • 2 tbsp butter, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and chopped strawberries until well combined.
  2. Spread the mixture on 4 slices of bread, then top each with another slice to form sandwiches.
  3. Gently press the edges to seal, trimming crusts if desired.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry sandwiches until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  5. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess butter.
  6. Slice sandwiches in halves or quarters and dust with powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use flavored cream cheese or add mini chocolate chips for variation.
  • Substitute strawberries with raspberries, blueberries, or jam.
  • Best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in a skillet or air fryer.
