Description

A delicious and spicy Fiery Chicken Ramen with a rich and creamy garlic sauce, featuring tender marinated chicken strips, perfectly cooked ramen noodles, and fresh toppings like green onions, shredded carrots, and soft-boiled eggs. This comforting dish balances heat with creamy flavors for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

For the Spicy Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Ramen Bowl:

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (for topping)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate & Cook the Spicy Chicken: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Add the sliced chicken, toss to coat well, and let marinate for 10 minutes. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then cook the chicken strips for 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until aromatic. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring frequently. Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it slightly thickens. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Cook the Ramen Noodles: Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain the noodles well, then toss with sesame oil to prevent sticking. Set aside.
  4. Assemble the Ramen Bowls: Divide the cooked ramen noodles evenly into serving bowls. Spoon the creamy garlic sauce generously over the noodles. Top with the fiery chicken strips, sliced green onions, shredded carrots, and halved soft-boiled egg. Garnish with sesame seeds and nori strips for extra flavor and texture. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes according to your preferred spice level.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce variant.
  • Soft-boiled eggs can be prepared by boiling for 6-7 minutes for a slightly runny yolk.
  • Shredded carrots add crunch but can be omitted if preferred.
  • Leftover sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheated gently.
