A quick, no-bake snack that combines white chocolate, freeze-dried strawberries, and Chex cereal for a fruity twist on classic puppy chow.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 oz bag freeze-dried strawberries
Instructions
- Place the freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor and pulse until they become a fine powder.
- In a bowl, combine the strawberry powder and powdered sugar. Mix until well blended and set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Gently stir to coat the cereal evenly.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag. Add the strawberry-sugar mixture, seal the bag, and shake until all pieces are well coated.
- Spread the puppy chow onto a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set the coating.
