Description

A quick, no-bake snack that combines white chocolate, freeze-dried strawberries, and Chex cereal for a fruity twist on classic puppy chow.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 oz bag freeze-dried strawberries

Instructions

  1. Place the freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor and pulse until they become a fine powder.
  2. In a bowl, combine the strawberry powder and powdered sugar. Mix until well blended and set aside.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the Chex cereal in a large mixing bowl. Gently stir to coat the cereal evenly.
  5. Transfer the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag. Add the strawberry-sugar mixture, seal the bag, and shake until all pieces are well coated.
  6. Spread the puppy chow onto a baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set the coating.

Notes

  • Ensure strawberries are finely ground for even coating.
  • Store in an airtight container to maintain crunch.
  • Use dairy-free chocolate chips for a vegan version.
