Description
A delicious twist on cheeseburgers, these rollups feature seasoned ground beef, melty cheeses, and a garlic butter-brushed tortilla baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 large flour tortillas
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: sliced pickles for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease it.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 7–8 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, whisk melted butter with minced garlic.
- Lay tortillas flat, evenly spread beef mixture on each, then top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Roll each tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush generously with garlic butter.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool slightly, slice into pinwheels if desired, garnish with pickles (if using), and serve warm.
Notes
- Substitute cheeses like Gruyère or Monterey Jack for variety.
- Add diced onions, peppers, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Swap beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- To reheat, use the oven for best crispiness.
