Description

A delicious twist on cheeseburgers, these rollups feature seasoned ground beef, melty cheeses, and a garlic butter-brushed tortilla baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sliced pickles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease it.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 7–8 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter with minced garlic.
  5. Lay tortillas flat, evenly spread beef mixture on each, then top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Roll each tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides, and place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush generously with garlic butter.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly, slice into pinwheels if desired, garnish with pickles (if using), and serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute cheeses like Gruyère or Monterey Jack for variety.
  • Add diced onions, peppers, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Swap beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, use the oven for best crispiness.
