Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 box (6 oz) herb-seasoned stuffing mix (like Stove Top)
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • Optional: ½ cup sautéed onions or celery
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare stuffing according to box instructions or combine dry stuffing mix with melted butter and broth.
  3. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and sautéed onions/celery if using. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Layer the prepared stuffing over the top, spreading evenly.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
