Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 box (6 oz) herb-seasoned stuffing mix (like Stove Top)
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- Optional: ½ cup sautéed onions or celery
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare stuffing according to box instructions or combine dry stuffing mix with melted butter and broth.
- In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and sautéed onions/celery if using. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the prepared stuffing over the top, spreading evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
