Ingredients
- 2 pounds stew beef or beef tips, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked separately
Instructions
- Add the beef tips to the bottom of the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the chopped onion and minced garlic over the meat.
- Pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and onion soup mix. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender.
- If thicker gravy is desired, mix cornstarch with a bit of cold water and stir into the crockpot 30 minutes before serving.
- Cook the egg noodles separately according to package instructions.
- Serve the beef tips and gravy over the cooked egg noodles.
