Description
Crispy salmon bites coated in spices and a creamy, spicy-sweet bang bang sauce, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillets (skin removed), cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tbsp chopped chives (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey to make bang bang sauce.
- Reserve half of the sauce for serving. Toss salmon cubes with remaining sauce.
- Place salmon in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or air fryer basket.
- Bake for 16 minutes, flipping halfway, or air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping once.
- Drizzle reserved sauce over cooked salmon and garnish with chopped chives.
Notes
- Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
- To make it gluten-free, ensure sauces used are gluten-free certified.
- Use fresh salmon like Atlantic or sockeye for best texture.
- For extra crunch, coat salmon in panko before cooking.
