Description

Crispy salmon bites coated in spices and a creamy, spicy-sweet bang bang sauce, perfect as an appetizer or main dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets (skin removed), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 12 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey to make bang bang sauce.
  4. Reserve half of the sauce for serving. Toss salmon cubes with remaining sauce.
  5. Place salmon in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or air fryer basket.
  6. Bake for 16 minutes, flipping halfway, or air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping once.
  7. Drizzle reserved sauce over cooked salmon and garnish with chopped chives.

Notes

  • Adjust sriracha for desired spice level.
  • To make it gluten-free, ensure sauces used are gluten-free certified.
  • Use fresh salmon like Atlantic or sockeye for best texture.
  • For extra crunch, coat salmon in panko before cooking.
