- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs or crushed graham crackers
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Cooking spray or neutral oil (for air frying)

Instructions
- Peel (optional) and slice apples into ½-inch sticks.
- Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and a mix of panko, sugar, and cinnamon in the third.
- Coat each apple stick in flour, then egg, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar breadcrumb mix.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and spray the basket with oil.
- Place coated apples in a single layer in the basket, spray tops with oil.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Serve warm with caramel, yogurt, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a pie-like twist, use crushed graham crackers instead of panko.
- Nutmeg or apple pie spice adds cozy depth.
- Best eaten fresh, but reheat in the air fryer for 3–5 minutes if needed.
- Make them gluten-free by using GF flour and breadcrumbs.
