Description

Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken & Linguine in Alfredo Sauce is a luxurious and comforting pasta dish featuring golden seared chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked linguine. It’s an indulgent meal perfect for weeknight dinners or cozy occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese (optional)
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside to rest.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant and golden.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cream cheese (if using) until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Meanwhile, cook linguine in boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  6. Slice the rested chicken and return it to the pan. Add cooked linguine and toss everything together. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Substitute linguine with fettuccine or penne for variation.
  • Add spinach or steamed broccoli for extra vegetables.
  • Use red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Try shrimp instead of chicken for a seafood twist.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days; add cream or milk when reheating.
