Description
A creamy and delicious Cinnamon Toast Crunch Protein Ice Cream made using the Ninja Creami, combining the flavors of cinnamon cereal with vanilla protein for a guilt-free frozen treat.
Ingredients
Milk Base
- 1 cup Fairlife skim milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
Flavoring
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp sugar free vanilla jello pudding mix
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Cereal
- 2/3 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal (plus more for topping)
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: Add the skim milk, almond milk, vanilla protein powder, sugar-free vanilla jello pudding mix, and ground cinnamon into the Ninja Creami pint container up to the max fill line. Mix well using a handheld frother. Then stir in 2/3 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal.
- Infuse Cereal Flavor: Let the cereal sit in the milk mixture for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to combine. After 15 minutes, remove the cereal from the milk and place the container in the freezer.
- Freeze Solid: Freeze the milk mixture for 24 hours, ensuring it becomes frozen solid before processing.
- Prepare for Processing: After freezing, run the pint container under hot water for 60 seconds to loosen the ice cream. Install the container into the Ninja Creami machine, making sure the surface is level to prevent damage to the blade.
- First Spin: Press the ‘Lite Ice Cream’ button for the first spin. If the ice cream texture is still powdery after spinning, use the ‘Respin’ button to improve creaminess.
- Mix in Cereal: Once the ice cream achieves a smooth and creamy texture, add additional Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal as a mix-in. Use the ‘Mix-In’ function on the machine to evenly distribute the cereal throughout the ice cream.
- Serve: Enjoy your creamy Cinnamon Toast Crunch Protein Ice Cream immediately for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- Ensure the pint container surface is level before processing to avoid blade damage.
- Removing the cereal after soaking prevents excessive sogginess in the ice cream base.
- Use a handheld frother for thorough mixing before freezing.
- The protein powder choice can affect sweetness and texture; vanilla flavor works best.
- Additional cereal as a topping adds a crunchy texture contrast.
