Description

Indulge in this rich and creamy Chocolate Snowswirl Fudge, a delightful treat combining luscious semi-sweet chocolate and gooey marshmallows with a swirl effect. Perfectly nutty and sweet, this no-bake fudge is easy to prepare and makes a wonderful holiday or party treat.

Ingredients

Chocolate Base

  • 3 cup (18 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • Dash salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Marshmallow Swirl

  • 2 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 2 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8- or 9-inch square pan with wax paper, ensuring the paper extends over the edges for easy removal. Lightly coat the paper with no-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Make the Chocolate Layer: In a heavy saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons of butter, and a dash of salt. Stir constantly until everything is melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped nuts. Spread this chocolate mixture evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. Prepare the Marshmallow Swirl: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the miniature marshmallows and the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, stirring until smooth. Immediately spread the melted marshmallow mixture on top of the chocolate layer in the pan. Using a knife or spatula, gently swirl the marshmallow layer into the chocolate to create a marbled effect.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the edges of the wax paper and cut into squares.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh marshmallows to ensure a smooth swirl.
  • You can substitute nuts with your preferred type or omit them for a nut-free version.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Allow the fudge to come to room temperature briefly before serving for a softer texture.
  • Use a sharp knife warmed with hot water for clean cuts.
