Description

Cheeseburger Sliders are the ultimate party food—mini burgers packed with juicy beef, melted cheese, and soft buns baked to golden perfection. These crowd-pleasing sliders are quick, easy, and perfect for game day, gatherings, or family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Lean ground beef
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Finely diced onion
  • Cheddar cheese slices
  • Mayonnaise (optional)
  • Slider buns or dinner rolls
  • Butter, melted
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Optional Toppings:
  • Pickles
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Cook Beef: Sauté onions until soft. Add beef, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned and drain excess fat. Stir in mayo for added creaminess, if desired.
  2. Prepare Buns: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice buns in half horizontally and place bottoms in a greased baking dish.
  3. Assemble Sliders: Layer half the cheese, then the beef, then the remaining cheese. Top with bun tops.
  4. Butter & Bake: Brush buns with melted butter, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover with foil and bake 12–15 mins. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes until tops are golden.
  5. Serve: Let cool slightly, slice into individual sliders, and serve with optional toppings.

Notes

  • Hawaiian rolls or soft dinner rolls work great as slider buns.
  • Cool the beef before assembling to prevent soggy bottoms.
  • Slice cheese to fit buns evenly for optimal melty coverage.
  • Add a layer of lettuce or tomato after baking for freshness.
  • These reheat best in the oven, not the microwave.
